Introduction to the team

Welcome to the Royal Air Force Motorcycle Racing Association's (RAFMSA) Classic Racing Motorcycle Club (CRMC) team blog.
We comprise a team of serving and ex serving riders and support crew who compete in the CRMC's races throughout the year.
The CRMC, being the biggest classic racing club in the world, offer a varied and highly competitive racing environment to challenge all team members.
All team bikes are turned out in a light blue with red stripe livery and concentrate on the Post Classic 125, 250 air cooled and 500cc air cooled classes.
Team members for 2017 comprise of: Symon Woodward, Andy Green, Chris Bartlett, Shaun Houston, James Dickinson, Mick Rudd, Dave Bond, Tom Flynn, Gavin Heggs, Ian Ridley & Simon Allen.
Such challenges are found from the very process of creating a racing machine to the rigors of maintaining a classic racer through the good and the bad times on the track.
Off the track we work together to ensure we all get out there on the starting grid.
On the track we compete with each other as hard (if not harder) than we do with other competators.
We work hard to achieve what we do both for our own entertainment and for those who come to compete against us and watch.
We all home to see you in the crowd or popping my the gazebo during a padock visit.
We aim to maintain this blog as a place to share race reports with you along with any other news or event invitations that we would like everyone to know about.
Our team is growing and as is our audience so we hope you are as entertained by our reminiscing as you were by the racing on the day.
