Race Review - Darley Moor 2020 round 1 😷

*Spoiler alert* - It got cancelled didn't it.

This season we were all ready and eager to get racing (with the obvious exception of Woodward which goes without saying) even if it was Darley. In fact, Darley Moor's resident expert, David Williams was very much looking forward to this event where he had a good chance of showing not one but three RAFMSA VFR750's who was the Margrave of the Moor. Even the weather was looking good!
With mass gatherings gradually getting shut down as the COVID19 threat grew, the writing was on the wall for the first meeting of 2020. In the end; by the time the date came we weren't even allowed out of our houses let alone to a race circuit.
Darley was cancelled so we had to find something to do safely in our homes. At least it would be less expensive, if we managed to stay away from eBay that is.
We didn't want to leave you without at least a few words to entertain you in this testing time. So here are a few along side some images for a bit of fun.
#14 Green
Employed child labour
Got to work on something a bit fancy.

...and yet more fanciness
Employed some child minded labour (Bondy's back!)

Whilst also managing to make a welding bench for the teams Rtech digital tig170
#41 Brown

Quite wisely avoided doing anything that he could fall off of and enjoyed some family time whilst his collar bone healed.

#51 Kirkby
Decided a TZ was a bit light and fancy so joined the tractor racing crew.

Then found the joys of VFR carbs

#61 Williams

Made everyone else sad they don't have a super tidy T'rex

#71 Rudd

#74 Heggs

Started 3D printing face shields for key workers

Plaid with superchargers (eBay🤦‍♂️)
Stretched the RD's legs in a responsible and isolated manner

Even gardening!
Also found out how crap he is at Ride3 competing in eCRMC

#157 Woodward
Got dangerously close to finishing a bike
Found his gin collection...

...And put his feet up
